Some Facts...

  • Humans need edible oils to survive.
  • Consumption of edible oils roughly tracks human population and income growth (1 billion people are to the planet every 12 years)
  • Demand for edible oils has grown at a CAGR of 4.3% over the course of the post 25 years and continues to grow...

What is the best way to produce these “edible oils”?

  • Palm oil is a “tree” not a planted, and reform does not crop which require annual replanting
  • One hectare of palm oil equals the edible oil output of 10 to 15 hectares of soya, canola or rapeseed.
  • Palm oil grows 24/7 in Southeast Asia due to the ideal growing climate
  • Malaysia has protected over 60% of its land mass for Forest or Forest Reserve (versus less than 20% – 30% for “western" countries in North America or Europe)
  • Malaysia has a strong land titling regime, rule of law and financial leverage available for the agricultural reuse.

We believe that the development of palm oil estates on agriculturally zoned lands in Malaysia represents the most cost-effective and sustainable means to produce the edible oils that the world needs.

Some of our practices...

  • Heavy use of leguminous ground cover naturally suppresses needs, reduce traditional dependence on chemical weeding applications.
  • Integration of technologies such as satellite mapping and GPS locators ensures maximum productivity of the fields.
  • Working with the local communities to provide clean water, employment opportunities and medical services. We also provide palm oil seedlings at cost and free consultations on planting to boost rural incomes.
